WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

Having a well-behaved "model citizen" dog is probably reward enough.

But if you have a larger dog, you might save some money:
Anyone familiar with the phrase "punish the deed, not the breed" is probably aware that ownership of certain breeds of dog, such as Rottweilers, American Staffordshire Terriers or pit bull - type dogs, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chows, Akitas, Siberian Huskies, German Shepherd dogs, and -- in some cases -- even Dalmatians and Boxers can lead to expensive rates or even cancellation of homeowner's insurance. Some insurance companies, such as Nationwide now offer homeowners insurances to the owners of such previously prohibited breeds and mixed breeds if the dog successfully completes the AKC good Citizenship Test.

ALL DOGS MUST HAVE CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION
(BRING RABIES TAG / CERTIFICATE PROVING RABIES VACCINATION)
ALL DOGS - MIX OR PUREBRED - MAY PARTICIPATE
BRING AKC REG. # IF APPLICABLE
NO FOOD, GENTLE LEADER/HALTI OR PINCH COLLARS ALLOWED IN RING
